So I started writing this blog almost 10 years ago and thought I should start it again, and hopefully, you will enjoy looking back at your life through my eyes for years to come.
This year was exciting for you. You finally finished the school year. It has been a hard year, and I am so proud of you. I am particularly impressed that you were able to teach yourself a whole year of maths and do so well on every test. We had a bit of a joke that you always got 93% on every test until your LAST test, where you managed to get 93.9% and bump it up to a solid 94%.
To celebrate the end of the school year, we went away for the weekend. It's the middle of storm season. I guess you can see where this is going, right? Well, we had a lot of fun, but we drove out of the campground and threw the tent in the skip bin on the way out. In the middle of the night it started raining inside the tent. Dad tried to save us all but we were wet and miserable. Carter and Ammon both loved the whole experience though...they are definitely best life kids.
